Juniper has been an overlooked resource since logging began in the 1800's. Due to its irregular growth, lumber mills were hesitant to work with juniper logs. With specialized production techniques, we are now able to process juniper into the various products that we bring to you today!
In today's evolving "Green Society", juniper is a perfect fit. The logs that we use come from forest restoration, rangeland restoration and watershed restoration projects. Small, selective-picking of the timber is beneficial in encouraging regrowth of pine seedlings and saplings in these forests that have been devastated of their old growth for commercial uses.
